Swap panel (virtual cocpit) e-golf 2015 to 2017

Hi.
I have 2015 model year e-golf (for the US market, imported into Russia).
I replaced the panel on my e-golf from the official dealer VW. I myself bought a new panel with zero mileage for 650 euro.
The official dealer VW dismantled the old panel and replaced it with a new one. The official VW dealer registered online keys, made the encoding. The cost of work 50 usd.

While I'm not enamored of "digital cockpits" including the ones used in VW and Audi products, I will say that I'm surprised that it was that easy a swap. I noticed even the odometer appears to be correct.

Did the dealer have to do any programming of the computer to get it work, or was it true plug and play?

The VW dealer made the mileage from my old dashboard (since the panel was new, with zero mileage, then the mileage could be entered any, at least 50 km. or 1000km) But I'm an honest man and asked to specify the real mileage).
Further, the standard procedure for online immobilizer / key registering (this operation can only be done by an authorized dealer who has online access and a VAG account). It took the encoding of the ABS unit (brake booster), with this they had the most problems, since the old settings were read. I had to make a call to another specialist and together they found a way to solve this problem.
To restart the brake booster already with a new configuration, it took a while to remove the system battery under the hood (we waited for the car to fall asleep and hoped that after the dream the last error would disappear, but we had to remove the system battery).
In the rest everything went quickly and standardly.
P.S. The digital readings were translated in km/h. But on a round scale, the testimony remained in miles. There was not enough knowledge for the official dealer, to encode to the end everything in km/h (in Russia km/h).

Do you have it done in Russia or Ukraine?

We have fraternal friendly countries
The panel was found by colleagues (acquaintances) from Ukraine and sent to Russia. In Ukraine, electric cars are more developed and in Ukraine there is more experience in repairing and replacing them than in Russia.
I have the only e-golf in private ownership in the country. As far as I know, there are 3 other e-golfs in Russia (one in the VW office in Moscow (Russia), and another two travel around the organization in the city of Ulyanovsk (Russia). I do not have any other information about private owners of e-golf in Russia.
The panel was set up in Russia by official VW dealers. My e-golf goes on the roads in Russia.

It is hard to believe that you were able to do this. I've done similar things on Mercedes and there is no dealer that will assist you. None. Nice job.

I wanted to ask you something about the virtual cluster in the E-Golf.
The problem I’m having is that sometimes my charges indicator not works.
You have on the left clock the pointers to the power and charge, they become green when you are charging if you hit the brake. My problem is that sometimes the green charge indicator is not there. Do you also have this problem and did you solve it?
