Is there any way/reason the selector lever can move from the B position to the P position automatically all by itself whilst waiting in a queue for over five minutes?

Is there any way/reason the selector lever can move from the B position to the P position automatically all by itself whilst waiting in a queue for over five minutes?

No motor in the mechanism so a hiuman must not have properly engaged a position.
