SE: 4499 + extra (2450) + 75 (69/mth + tax) = 6949 [75*30 + 4500]
SEL: 5499 + extra (2450) + 95 (89/mth + tax) = 8350 [95*30 + 5500]

Option 2:
2016 E Golf SE w QC
30 Month/ 7500 miles
SE: 2499 + extra (2845) + 65 ($59/mth + tax) = 7284 [65*30 + 5334]

How do these look?
Were the leasing options even better in 2015 and 2016?

it's ok, but I would try to aim for 6500 OTD SE (Yes I know it has DCFC)

So this deal would be $5725 for 7500, and I'm assuming $1000 for the extra miles?

Your deal is ok, but of course you just need to 'shop it around' and see if you can get another dealer to give you a slightly better deal.

Just wanted to remind all those shopping that in addition to inventory being down from last summer, interest rates have risen. In July 2016 following Brexit, lessees with good credit were seeing rates between 1-2%. In my lease, I'm paying more to the DMV for registration fees than in interest to VW finance. :lol:

Based on LeaseHackr an interest rate of 1.5% vs. 3.0% will add about $800 to a zero down, 30-month lease for a 2016 SE w/ DCFC.

I put 6K down on my Mercedes B. I lost that when it was totaled. The gap only covered the difference in value and what was the payoff. I have never before had a car totaled and you do not think that is going to happen.

They say that you should only pay a minimal amount but that keeps the payment high. Just remember all that down is lost if the worst happens and the car is declared totaled!

I have read a ton of glowing reviews about the 2017 e-Golf and I think VW is going to sell a lot of them because consumers want quiet, energy efficient transportation with low operating costs. I think 125 miles of range will satisfy almost 100% of commuting needs and a similarly high percentage of other needs in states like CA that have a decent DCFC network.

It is now August. Any further predictions, whether based on vw media or not, on the release of 2017 vw e-golfs?

My dealer said he's taking delivery of new ones on Aug 22.

But the old ones are dirt cheap now. Someone reported getting an SEL for $200/month 0 Down.
