Hey all, I have a 2016 SEL Premium w/ 65,900 miles, and while it’s been flawless over the past 5 years of ownership, I got a an error code P261C (18065), along with the yellow “Error Electrical System. Service vehicle!”on the dashboard LCD. Initially I thought it was the 12V battery causing havoc again, but it was just replaced and the voltages seem fine. A bit of research on ICE VW products has pointed to a bad water pump, and sure enough the inverter temps have shot up to 160F (70C) after about 2 minutes of driving, where the car says to pull over due to overheating. Was wondering if any of you have experienced this or know if there are multiple water pumps, and/or which one “Coolant pump B” would be?
