My car's interior fan keeps turning on and off by itself. I don't know why. It would remain on while the car is off and disengages when the car is running. What could be the cause?

Looks like your car’s got some electrical hiccups! It might be a relay being a pain or the climate control module having issues. Could also be a short circuit or a malfunction in the fan itself. Best bet? Take it to a mechanic and let them figure it out!

I think @Mag1234 is right. Also, since it is happening while the car is off, I would get it checked by a mechanic to prevent draining your battery or further issues.

Thanks everyone. So I took my car to the dealer and found out that the issue was just the 12V battery. They replaced with a new one and the issue was gone.

Have you checked the climate control settings? Sometimes the fan is set to auto, and it behaves oddly if there’s a mismatch with the temperature sensor or if preconditioning is active. Try turning off the auto function or any scheduled climate settings via the infotainment system or app.
