probably not until August or Sept of 2016, will the 2017's show up. Maybe sooner, if made in Mexico.

Don't forget we've still go the 2016.5 models supposedly coming, which will have self-park and gesture control. I would guess that'll be March or April.

Check out my other thread on Bay Area SEL inventory. I don't think $27,000 is impossible, especially for black or white. Sales are always slow in Jan/Feb and it's a great time to buy if you can find what you like.

Or else they're including the federal tax rebate in the "price" like I've seen many times...

Not if you ask the dealership to quote you an "out the door" price for buying, not leasing. I paid $1800 less than that, before taxes, license and registration for my 2015 SEL, in October, 2015. It also depends on your negotiation skills, or lack thereof.
