Blue Stitching

Is blue stitching on the steering wheel and gear selector and option or standard for the SEL? I was just looking over at vw.com and noticed the blue stitches and mine doesn't have it. In the build your own I don't see a way to to add it, so I'm just wondering why my car doesn't have it if it appears to be standard?

My 2016 SEL has blue stitching on both and it is not listed on the sticker as an option. I can not speak for other years.

My 2015 SEL also has the blue stitching. AFAIK it's standard.

Does your SE have a leather wrapped steering wheel? If not that's probably why there's no stitching, blue or any other color.

Tan interiors on SEL's do not have the blue stitching. I believe it's black.
