What's this creaking noise from my wheels?

I’ve been hearing this weird creaking or rubbing sound from my wheels when I’m turning at low speeds. It’s been going on for the past few weeks, and it’s kind of bugging me!
Has anyone else dealt with this, or have any idea what might be up? Fingers crossed it’s not gonna break the bank!

Looks like Golfs have a knack for this creaking thing! A little lube should fix that right up. Give it a shot!

It could be something simple like worn brake pads or a wheel bearing issue.

I once had a leaf stuck in the brake caliper that made a similar noise.
