Last week, Volkswagen announced pricing for the German version of the Volkswagen e-Golf electric vehicle.
Priced at 34,900 euros, it comes in slightly cheaper than the 34,950 euro BMW i3 electric vehicle.
We're still waiting for full and confirmed specs on the e-Golf, but what we know so far:
- 24.2 kWh lithium ion battery pack drives the e-Golf.
- With an 8-year, 160,000 km warranty on the battery, there should be little concern about battery degradation.
- On the NEDC test cycle, the e-Golf has a range of 'up to 190 km'
- 0-60 mph time is 10.4 seconds and top electric speed of 87 mph
