Hello eGolfers.

I owned an egolf 2015 SEL , I've been driving it for a month and it's awesome !.

But since I live in the middle east , navigation isn't working in here , I searched for map updates on VW website , and things seem more complicated than I expected :? .

Firstly , how could I know which type is my infotainment system ? Is it discover media or discover pro and which generation ?

Secondly , is discover care the only way I can update maps for my egolf ? :?:

The software for the US models navigation system is different than Europe, especially the 2015 model. I would be very surprised if you can find maps covering the Middle East that will work with the car. Your best bet would be to see if you can read the SD card that came with the car and compare the data to another VW model that is properly localized in your area.
