My eGolf is almost 2 years old, and it had a service last year that cost around $320. I thought I’d need to book another service this year. However, I checked VW’s website, and it now states that services should be done every 18,000 miles or 24 months, which is different from before. This aligns more closely with ID servicing now, but it does include a mileage limit. Has anyone else noticed this?

I haven't noticed yet, but I don't understand if this is a good thing or a bad thing. 🙄
It’s definitely a bit of a mixed bag! On one hand, extending the service interval can save you money and time in the long run. On the other hand, it might mean you’ll have to keep a closer eye on things in between services...yeah one needs to weigh the pro and cons
