How to get rid of Wind Window 'Thump'

Is there something that can be added to the Golf that will reduce window thump or thrum?
Whenever a passenger opens a window in the car the whole car starts pulsating and it pops my ears. Is there a particular wind deflector or other device that you guys have used to eliminate that?
It doesn't matter which window, if the drivers isn't down, it's torture.

You could always crack open another window and use the wind deflector to keep wind and water out.

This is caused by exterior air flow around the car. The only work around is opening another window, to balance the pressure.

I wasn't trying to avoid opening another window, It was more if a passenger is in the car, they love to open the windows because the back seat has almost no air flow (except for those little two vents). And I was hoping to avoid any arguments with them about why I lock the windows etc.

Opening up any window messes up the aerodynamics of the car, and it's efficiency in terms of miles per kwh traveled. Exception might be speeds traveled below 25-30 mph.

Not the issue, I don't want to sound like you Joules to my passengers.

I just wanted to see if there was a way to make it work...owells, time to crank up the A/C and lock the windows when I have passengers.
