E-golf door handle and charging port cover panel

Has anyone had issues with opening the e-golf in the cold? Rear passenger door handle came off in my hand and then the charging port cover panel literally fell off when I pressed it in to open it. Has the cold caused any of the plastic or metal to fail?

Not even at -25 C. The charging port gives trouble sometimes.
