I agree with this. The e-Golf manual even indicates coasting as the most efficient method of driving. I had been driving in B mode for a month, then switched to driving in D. My efficiency increased noticeably.

2016 e-Golf SE... got the recall letter. I'll make sure to mention the climate control problem when I schedule my service as well.

After changing the time to manual and setting the clock, I came back to the car the next day and the time was off by 4 hours. I went into settings and now daylight savings time was magically selected! So I switched it back to GPS time and it stayed on DST and all is well. Just a one-day glitch...

I wanted to enable daylight savings time in my 2016 e-Golf SE. However, whenever I click the checkbox to enable it, it instantly unchecks it. So I just ended up changing the time off of GPS time and onto manual. Daylight savings button is still useless. Oh well, I just manually moves the time...

You can plug it in and leave charging off... Just so when you preheat the car you're not using battery. Maybe that will help.

CarPlay overall is working great for me. However, my podcast app OverCast crashes whenever I try to use it. Anybody else use OverCast? Other than that, CarPlay has been seamless with my iPhone 6.
