I'm looking to put winter rims and tires on my 2019 e-golf. I own a perfect for winter all wheel drive Cayenne, so its difficult to justify paying for a new set of wheels and snow tires, especially since the eGolf is leased. On Craig's list, I found a set off of an Audi A4 with the same specs except for the offset which is 35. The 2019 eGolf's OEM rims offset are 46. Will the 35 offset work? The dealership could not say yes or no, and the lowest offset I have found for new wheels online is 40.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks - I'd really like to keep driving around town this winter and not have to pay for gas!
