Hey guys. Trying to figure out which EVSE pairs best with the e-Golf. I am planning on installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage so one that comes pre-wired with that plug is a plus. I was leaning towards Clipper Creek because of the excellent reviews until I heard that delayed charging is not compatible between the e-Golf and these. Schneider looked like it got good reviews on Amazon. Anyone else have any recommendations? Definitely looking for a 25ft cable. Some sort of easy to spot lights on the EVSE relating to status would be nice too but not essential.

Let me know what you think. Thanks!

My opinion on Tier 1 residential EVSE, in alphabetical order:

Aerovironment
Bosch
Clipper Creek
GE
Leviton
Schneider
Siemens

Other EVSE that are lower cost and not Tier 1 IMHO because they are not listed with UL / CSA.
JuiceBox
OpenEVSE
QuickChargePower Jesla (Jamp Jr not available yet)

A good resource is the "Compare EV Chargers" button at the top of this forum.

I've got the Schneider and have had no issues with it. I don't use delayed charging though, so I don't know if it's compatible with that.
