For our 2019 e-Golf, I would like to obtain a steel wheel for a spare, preferably one that would be suitable as a driving tire.
Searching various sources leads me to confusion as to part number.
I find these options among others –
5Q0-601-027-BG-03C listed as "16, w/ e-Golf" at $139 (MSRP $215)
5Q0-601-027-BT-03C listed for Arteon at $83 or $56+shipping
5C0-601-027-C-03C "fits your vehicle" at $51.11+ shipping
Big differences in cost!
Are these wheels really different, or do all fit the e-Golf, and the Ecopia EP422 Plus 205/55 R16 91H tires ? [ Rim = 6.5jx16 ET46 ]
We are concerned for any possible differences in offset dimension or valve stem hole, etc.

Also, I see 2 different "Spare Tire Bolt"s – 99 mm 5G0803899, and 127 mm 5Q0803899.
Which fits the full size wheel & tire? I suspect that the 99mm may be for the temporary mini-spare?

And, what is recommended for the valve stem? Options vs VW's expensive one?
Can local tire shop provide a suitable pressure sensor?
Any issue with driving with plain old valve stem?

When you say spare, do you mean you would keep this wheel in the car? Are you ok with it taking up a lot of trunk space? I have the compact spare and it fits just fine under the trunk load floor, but there is only about 1 cm of clearance between the tire and the floor. Why not just get a spare alloy wheel? too expensive?

Thanks for reply.
Yes, we want a full drivable spare.
in 4+ years of e-Golf ownership, mostly wife driving to/from her office, we have had at least 5 flats and 2 required replacing tire.
Road debris (screws, nails) every time.
No spare is not a good policy for her.
I won't mind the slight height rise on the rear floor.
Still confused about the specific wheel differences.

I think the cheapest one is for a compact spare.

I'm not sure about the other ones.

How much for an OEM alloy?

I received a seller message –
"5Q0-601-027-BT-03C is for a temporary spare 3.5x18 ET25.
5Q0-601-027-BG-03C is for a full size tire 6x16 ET48"
Quite an obscure numbering system!

OK!
We now have tucked away in the rear spare tire indentation (without any cutting!) a 5th Ecopia EP422 Plus, on a 5Q0-601-027-BS-03C Wheel, plus a simple bottle jack sitting inside the spare wheel m(wrapped in bubble-wrap to avoid rattles). Only lost about 1.5 to 2 inches of floor height.
Still trying to figure out the hold-down bolt, not sure if need 99 mm 5G0803899 or 127 mm 5Q0803899 ... and apparently there is also a 109 mm one ... Almost $20 seems quite pricey ...
And, not sure if "Spare. Retainer. Tire. (Rear) (Rear) 1T0803274" is already on car? Needed as well?

I cut the plastic so I could fit the donut spare. I have a retainer (star shaped) attached to the threaded post so the wheel doesn't move around.

Thanks for the info.
Could you please give sources/ part numbers for those hold-down items?

My full-size (and 41 psi) tire pushed down into place with very little bending of the rear panel in the recess!
Happy with that.

I got all of my info from this forum. These are the items in my car:

(A) 5K0601011AA Spare Wheel w/Tire
(B) 1K0803899D Threaded Post w/Nut
(C) 5G0012115N Foam Tool Tray
(D) 5C0011031B Jack
(E) 5G0867749 Jack Retaining Strap
(F) 5QM011221 Jack Crank
(G) 4D0012219A Lug Wrench

I did have to severely cut the foam tool tray - maybe there is a better part out there that doesn't need cutting. Everything fits very nicely with no impact on the load floor height.
