Safety recall - engine shut down

I just wanted to post this as a topic under this thread for new potential buyers/lessees! I have been lurking as I was considering leasing a new e-Golf or buying a use one, but this certainly adds to the factors as I weigh all my electric car options.

VW is not the only one who has had this problem. The Ford Focus Electric had a similar issue. BMW i3's and even Teslas have developed numerous problems as well.
