Questions about my Golf

I want to use solar power to charge my Golf. I'm using an Octopus Go tariff and a Zappi charger. Can I control everything from the Zappi, or do I need to use the car's settings? Also, can I preheat or cool the car using the app instead of scheduling it?

I bought the security & service package. With that I can see everything needed. Also do some schduling I think.
I only use it as interface to Home Assisstant. With that I can program the charging just as I like.
