I just got my monthly summery of charges from NRG, and I'm being charged for charging I didn't do.
I went to the outlet mall in Camarillo and charged for about six hours on one day, they charged me for eight hours. Then two days later they charged me another eight hours, and then the next day they charged me for two.

The thing is, I live really far from there so there is no way I would be there that often. Carnet shows the one day I didn't drive enough to even get close to there, and the second day I didn't drive my car at all.

I instantly sent them an email disputing the charges, but haven't heard back from them.

Has anyone else had this happen to them with NRG?

NRG has the worst billing system in the EV business. Keep hassling them until they refund your charges. I have only had success with them by calling. Repeatedly.

This is why I pretty much refuse to use their level 3 chargers here in CA. Problematic billing. I don't need those kind of additional headaches or waste of time. This never happens with buying diesel on a credit card at a fuel stop.

Put credit card in, lift the handle or push the button, pump fuel, hang up the pump handle when done, print out a receipt, drive. It's not that hard, the business model already exists.
