Here is the lease deal I just received:

12K Miles
$2779 out the door.
$148.54 + tax
36 months
Residual is $11,081.50
rate: .00065
Capitol

How does that look to folks? Should I jump on it?

how much cash out of pocket? I think it is too low to be $0 down. With Santa Clara County tax, that is $5,815.34 total of payments. The advertised Sunnyvale deal is $6,460.05 total payments because they have a huge $4,620 out of pocket and $47/mo. Actually, the Sunnyvale deal is probably more than that because I didn't add the tax on the down payment and rebate. So, that one is probably $7,750 all-in for 22,500 miles (7,500/yr). That should be your point of negotiation - the total $ for the entire term of the lease. Also, with the CVRP rebate defunded, I would not put anything down. I was sure I was getting the rebate, so I put $2,500 down when I got ours.

Sorry, I missed that detail.

$2779 out the door.

So this deal with 12K miles is for 8126.44 for 3 years.

I'm assuming this is for a base SE?

Sunnyvale was offering zero down ($1400 due at signing) deals too, with of course higher monthlies. And the deal I got at Hayward was $3300 due at signing and $50/month - on a 24 month lease. These were 7500 miles/year but as a rule of thumb you can bump mileage for $5/month per 1,000 miles.

Having shopped around quite a bit last month I found the best deals were Hayward, Winn, Boardwalk, and Sunnyvale in that order. Capitol and Stevens Creek had highest prices, but then again they also had the best selection
