I'm not aware of any VW models, or ANY car manufacturers besides maybe Tesla, who offer Google Earth built into their North American market cars.
The trend here is away from car manufacturer-based GPS systems, as the data are often out of date by the time the car reaches the dealership. Rather, using technologies like Apple Car Play, or Google's Android Auto, they are interfacing with smart phones which tend to be replaced far more often (2 year replacement cycles are somewhat common in the US) and whose software can be updated as often as the map developer wants to push updates. General Motors, Toyota, and Honda also have their own interfaces that use your smartphone for its primary source of GPS and other data.
This system works well here in North America, where unlimited cell phone data plans are abundant and relatively affordable.
