Cable charging issue (red light on 120v cable)

Has anyone got any insight on this?

2016 has been charging fine for months, now the cable is showing a red light and not charging the car. What could this fault mean?

The lights don’t change at any outlet in the house. Always the same. Reset button does nothing.

Bought the car used from a dealer and the cable came with so not sure what a next step would be.

When you first plug it into a wall socket, does it run through its test phase (as in a flashing green light)? If not, then I think it's broken.

Get the dealership to replace it if you can, otherwise you'll have to fork out some cash to buy a new one. The 124V versions are not that expensive (compare to L2 chargers), around $150-300 online.

I had the red light after it tested itself when I was initially plugging the unit into a socket that wasn't grounded. I live in an older home and I've been slowly upgrading the circuits when I can. I upgraded this socket immediately!
