I might be interested in this if VW openpilot bounty is claimed.

I have a VAGCOM HEX-CAN OBD cable and as soon as I receive my 2016 e-Golf I will look at possible recoding for ACC without going to VW service.

Otherwise I will ask a VW service tech if they can recode the ECU.
