2017 e-Golf seats and seat cover compatibility

I am looking to purchase some nice neoprene (or similar) covers to protect the front seats from the dirt/water from various sporty activities. My VW came with the leatherette seats.

Most seat cover manufacturers have yet to list 2017 e-Golf as a compatible model. So I am looking to confirm compatibility. Has anyone looked at part numbers and fit to determine the following:

1) Are the leatherette seats on 2017 e-Golf identical to those on the 2016/2015 e-Golf (from a size perspective)?
2) Are the leatherette seats on 2017 e-Golf identical to those on any other Golfs (again, from a size rather than fabric perspective)?

P.S. VW does not sell seat covers for the 2017 e-Golf yet. The closest product is a "seat underlay", part #000019819.

As far as I can tell the e-Golf seats are the same as the seats in the standard MK7 Golf.
