    Multiple charging plugs won't lock.

Update: The Control Unit was replaced (with the new style per the notes) which required dropping the battery so it was in the shop two more weeks. I then drove it for 1 week and it worked fine until today. At work today with the supplied 120V EVSE and car did not charge and the charge port light...

    Multiple charging plugs won't lock.

I read that too (here I think) but the dealer insists that they have done more than one replacement of the charge port and the battery does not need to be dropped to replace it. I have a VWoA case that is escalated to a regional manager and I am requesting that they replace it while it is all apart.

    Multiple charging plugs won't lock.

My 2015 SEL also would not charge, and was in the dealer for just over a month. They replaced the charger unit under the hood which the dealer said cost $2000, and said that it was showing faults that the battery was overheated (falsely) and would not charge. Before that it was having the...

    Latest broken Car-Net update

Maybe this is coincidence but I had recently cleared cache on my phone and was having this "no vehicle registered" problem. Every time I launched the app I would have to re-register. When I uninstalled the app and re-installed it everything worked fine. Clearing cache should not break an app...

    2016 SE 159/month MD

Has anyone done this deal? Any comments (about the deal, not SE vs SEL or options)? We might be leasing one for my mother-in-law. Think there is any room for negotiation with this? I'm thinking she can get 3k back from the state (excise tax rebate) so we could put up to 3k down and end up with...

    Charges completely instead of delaying

The overlapping schedule seems to be working, although I haven't had a normal work schedule and was only able to test it once. It seems to be stopping at 50% now with this work-around.

    Charges completely instead of delaying

Good idea, I'll set an overlapping daily schedule @ 50% for 11 PM and test it next week. Thanks

    Charges completely instead of delaying

Update: Still not working. Still charges to MAX and does not stop after 50% and wait for the delay like it should. Interestingly if my location is set to 90% it will stop at 90% and not 100%. Have been to 3 different dealers and have an escalated case with VWoA. VW engineers found a fault in...

    Car-net and delayed charging

Understood, I'm considering abandoning Car-net but that's a function I currently use but wouldn't get. The reasons I use 50% minimum are 1) so I don't leave the battery in a depleted state for several hours each day waiting for the delay, and 2) in case I need to run an errand later in the...

    Car-net and delayed charging

With the Chargepoint Home (or Juicebox) is there a way to have it automatically charge to a minimum like 50% immediately and then delay the remainder of the charge until early morning?

    Recent regressions in Car-Net functionality

Yes, I can confirm that I can no longer rely on Car-net to show me the charging status like you said. The app lets me start or stop charging but the app shows a communication failure and refreshing does not show the charging status. I can also confirm this statement (other than a wind noise...

    new carnet web site...

It no longer shows "next departure time" so there's no indicator for whether my schedule is working or not. That function was very unreliable (in the mobile app too) so maybe they took it out due to that. The graph is correct but the vertical axis shows kWh consumed for the trip, not mi/KWh...

I cannot get charging to stop at 80%. I have no cell phone

You should be able to achieve this using Web app using delayed charging. Create a comfort/charging profile/location with charging to 80%. Then set a daily or weekly schedule using this location (any schedule should work). Finally, set the minimum level to 80% in e-Settings>basic settings...

    multiple departure times

So the VWoA rep now said that she misunderstood. She says you CAN have multiple reoccurring departure times set, but you can't have multiple specific-day departure times set. Thanks for chiming in. There's something odd about my situation or vehicle. I might try locking my doors since I'm sure...

    Maximum range shown

I usually show around 106 since my trip home the night before is usually in heavy traffic and I average 5.3 mi/kWh. The best I've seen is 131 and I got a 127 once. Since my daily average is 4.6 (I drive faster in the morning with less traffic) I usually have 16-18 miles left after a 80 mile...

    multiple departure times

I was told by my VWUSA rep that you cannot have multiple recurring schedules due to a known bug. You can have one recurring schedule and two other one-time schedules. :( She said there is a major redesign coming that will make the system more usable. I had been wondering why there have been...

factory setting charging and comfort profile

Great, thanks! I was worried that this might have been the source of some of my delayed charging problems. I still can't get delayed charging to work after having the TSB applied twice.

factory setting charging and comfort profile

Could someone tell me what the proper spelling and capitalization is? I want to rename mine properly to what it was originally.

factory setting charging and comfort profile

What is the proper name, spelling, and capitalization for the factory settings in the Web app? I renamed mine and edited it in my Android app but on the website it says it cannot be renamed or edited. I renamed mine back to this but I'm not sure it's correct:

Should I expect charge depletion after parking for 2 weeks ?

The manual says if the battery charge level is below 3%, never park the vehicle for more than 21 days without charging. Sitting for two weeks shouldn't deplete the battery much at all.
