UPDATE: This issue was resolved by the website updates and mobile app updates in July.

Anyone have this working?

Even though I have M-F set for 5AM departure time,

the status screen shows that the next scheduled charge is Sunday. I've tried several combinations of schedules, but it always seem to think it's not going to charge until the next Sunday.

Also, sometimes it says "ON" and sometimes it says "SET". What's the difference?

"Set" means schedule is enabled but not executing. A "set" schedule will execute(go to "On" mode) once car is plugged in, timer button is lit and car is locked.

Thanks, that's helpful. Does the car need to be locked? I don't usually lock it when it's in the garage, but maybe that's causing some problems for my delayed scheduling.

And if I missed these instructions somewhere feel free to refer me to them. I thought I had read all of the instructions.

Honestly I don't know if it's necessary but I do it anyway. I notice green light will do fast blink(wait mode) or slow fade in/out(immedate charging) a few seconds after plugging in even without being locked.

Immediate charging happens will happen regardless if you press instant or timer button if you're below minimum charge. I have mine set to lowest 20% but i've been below it several times. No choice in this case but to stay up till off-peak starts.

Off-peak timer can only be set in locations. Locations can only be activated by pairing with one of the 3 departure time slots which does require an actual departure time.

However, I've just been setting my departure time to be the same as the end of the off peak and it seems to have the same intended effect in most cases.

Here's the situations I've observed charge begins immediately.

1) the off-peak period is not long enough to reach your target charge level. I have an L1. I'm guessing not an issue with L2.
2) you're below the min charge level(lowest setting is 20%).

When I have separate schedules set for weekdays and weekends, it does not work. It always seems to say "NEXT PLANNED DEPARTURE TIME:" as the first day of the NEXT schedule and not the current day.

Examples: I have Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu schedule for 5 AM and a Fri, Sat, Sun schedule set at 9 AM. On Tuesday it says "NEXT PLANNED DEPARTURE TIME:" is Sunday. On Saturday it says "NEXT PLANNED DEPARTURE TIME:" is Monday.

I'm going to begin another support case with Car-Net to report this.

So far when I only have one schedule for every day, it seems to work as expected.

I was told by my VWUSA rep that you cannot have multiple recurring schedules due to a known bug.

You can have one recurring schedule and two other one-time schedules. :(

She said there is a major redesign coming that will make the system more usable. I had been wondering why there have been 0 system or app updates. Even the TSB does not update any code, it only changes settings in the car.

A major redesign is good news. This app needs it. It is needlessly complex and unintuitive.

I have successfully used multiple departure times. The screen shot below is from when I was testing charging to 90%. The Charging Location called "Reduced" was set to charge to 90%. Standard was set to 100%. It never missed a charge during this testing and properly stopped at 90%.

So the VWoA rep now said that she misunderstood. She says you CAN have multiple reoccurring departure times set, but you can't have multiple specific-day departure times set.

Thanks for chiming in. There's something odd about my situation or vehicle. I might try locking my doors since I'm sure most people do (mine is in the garage).

I'm still at first level support and am about to be escalated to a regional technical specialist.
