I don't know, but I'm curious as well. The CC controls are on the multifunction steering wheel, right? I guess the question is, are the SE's pre-wired for all the MFSW controls, and you just need a new wheel to plug in and then enable the functions? While I really don't have a need for cruise control in mine, I do wish I had the leather wrapped wheel and radio controls on the wheel that the SEL's have. Changing radio stations on a touch screen sucks.
I did look for changing out a steering wheel on vortex. The best thread I found was for a MkVI car, so I don't know if anyone's tried to upgrade the MFSW on any lower trim level MkVII Golf, let alone the e-Golf SE.
