How long does the 12V stay on when parked?

I've been looking into the feasibility of a 220V inverter with the hope of being able to rum my well pump. Does anyone have any input on that? We measured the draw and we read 7.3 then dropped to 6.8. I would imagine the actual starting draw was higher, but was our high reading. I will add that...

suspension rattle from rear - what is it?

A friend has a Golf wagon that had a rattle in the RR. I found a nice sized stone caught above the control arm. I don't know how it got in there, but there was no way it was going to come out of there on it's own. Removing it took care of his noise.

    2019 EGolf heater operation

So I'm answering my initial question of how to turn off the electric heater and still use the fan to draw out the heat from the system. ECO+ does just that if you let the system heat and keep the CC temp adjusted up and put the car in ECO+ everything still works except the heating element. The...

    2019 eGolf Prices Paid

The credit is good against your tax liability for any amount up to the $7500. If your liability is $3000, you can use that much of the credit only and it does not roll over to the next year.

    40k Service, poor dealership results

They will just be annoying, front or rear, but louder on the front . Consider them ruined at this point and any use you get from them is a bonus as long as you can stand it. It doesn't sound like they are too bad right now. I would put them on the front and use them up.

    2019 EGolf heater operation

I know they are high voltage and I also know there is a correct procedure for handling it. I would like some info on that please. The people who build and service these cars have had to ask and learn, that is what I am trying to do. The tank heater is the heater on the firewall for the cabin heat.

Does anyone know what precautions should be followed to unplug the orange cable on the tank heater?

    2019 EGolf heater operation

I haven't really used it yet. When it comes down to it it probably doesn't do much. It just seems like the right thing to do. I'm going to do the tank heater also.

    40k Service, poor dealership results

I have been around VW's all my life and learned long ago you must rotate the tires or the rears will cup. I do mine every 3,300 miles, you could probably squeak by at 5,000. Your choices are let them on the back and they will get worse, but you will be dealing with them a long time. Or put them...

    2019 EGolf heater operation

I've checked a little bit with an inferred thermometer and there are different levels of heater output so just setting the cabin temp to a relatively low setting may be somewhat efficient. If the system is warmed up and you lower the temp there is no doubt it adds cool air to get to the lower...

    2019 EGolf heater operation

I don't know if that's how it works. On a liquid fueled car the heater core is full hot and then cool air is blended to lower the air to the desired temp. I don't know how they have this set up on the EGolf. The easy thing for VW to do would be to do it same way even though it's bad for the range.

    2019 EGolf heater operation

I have a 2019 EGolf with standard heat (no heat pump). I haven't used the heat much, but I assume the coolant heater runs full blast to heat the circuit then if you lower the desired cabin temperature it mixes in cool air. If you get it warmed up and then turn the system off the heating...

VW MUD FLAPS FOR 2019 EGOLF

I put them on all of my cars. They help keep the car a little cleaner and protect the rockers from getting the paint blasted off of them. The Golf front flaps are pretty short though.

VW MUD FLAPS FOR 2019 EGOLF

Does any one have any info on the correct VW mud flaps for a 2019. My dealer claimed the part numbers for are not in the system yet. I got the numbers for a 2018 and would have to think they are the same. Can anyone verify that or have the part numbers.
