Glad to see it fixed for you. 2016 SE here and no problems with delayed charging and my HCS-40P. As long as it starts blinking when plugged in, it charges at my off peak time every time. My plug never locks so that must be a 2015 "feature."

I first set up delayed charging in the infotainment center. Off peak 12-5 am and departure time 8:00 am. I have changed it via carnet as well and both seem to take. The car automatically starts charging at midnight and finishes around 4 am since I usually only charge about 60 miles worth.

That's close to what I paid for my lease. I'd say just ok as well. If you can, try to get total drive off including Tax, title, reg, etc of 2500 or less with that payment.

I have a friend looking for an e-Golf near San Diego. Apparently there are 0 cars available and 17 in transit to the San Diego area according to VW.com. Anyone know of cars available? Hard to believe they are all sold out down here.
