We have 2 subscription when buy/lease eGolf: - one 6 month trial of more advanced stuff, like auto collision notification, vehicle assist etc. - 3 year complimentary service (app access, only access to check charge etc)

Cheap cable will not work as it comes with very old soft. eGolf is supported only from the most resent release of their app. Look up this forum, I did ask this already. You need Release 15.X (15.7 is the latest) of the soft and at least Micro Can interface. That's my setup that works.

They need to break by EV and BEV sales for cars that have that option (like i3). I bet most of that is BEV that's for now more practical with current situation with chargers. Most of i3 I saw on my commute have green stickers (meaning it's BEV).
