That’s interesting, I never thought of a plug adapter that would essentially let you use a 240 Vac outlet as a 120, but what you say makes sense…. I would definitely want to confirm that the adapter functions this way prior to use.

I put a 1-1/4 hitch on my 2019, and it looks as if there is a 2” for that year. However, when I look on etrailer.com, it doesn’t show any hitches available for the 2016…

Yup, my 2019 has that also. I had VW check it at the end of warranty and they said nothing was up. I just figure it’s the elves doing their thing (either that or just operating noises from the power brakes/steering… elf territory either way).
