I also have a JuiceBox 40 Pro plugged into a NEMA 14-50 outlet I installed in the garage, and a 2015 egolf, I can confirm that using the JuiceBox timer does not work, you have to use the car-net timer only. To clarify the JuiceBox timer works fine, just not with with e-golf, I read somewhere...
Just had this start happening to me, exactly as you describe, though I'm fairly sure I had my foot on the break as I usually do, my Q5 won't shift from park without it...
Ordered my JuiceBox 40 Pro through Amazon, same price, came in 2 days!! I wired in my 14-50 and hooked it up for the first time today, works great. Did not know about the comment that e-golf will not work with the JB start timer, I check that out.
